At the moment, Focused Historic Interests, Inc is registered in Texas as a domestic nonprofit corporation, with board of directors governance, and the IRS has issued an EIN. Are you a history enthusiast? Do you want to help build recreational events where everyone puts some serious effort into an accurate portrayal of a single time and place? Do you get excited at the idea of mimicking the exact look of a Medieval painting? This could be a group for you.
We like history. Talking about it, recreating it, encouraging others to appreciate it. Do you want to be a knight in armor? A burgher? A tailor, showing off how you finally got a curved hem to work to an appreciative crowd? Do you want to sit in the shade and debate when the Renaissance truly came to the Low Countries? Welcome aboard.
This is what to expect at one of our events.
